Minimise Risks
Naturally, prevention is better than cure, and we actively encourage our clients to protect themselves and minimise risks by adopting the following:
- Schedule daily backups and take these offsite.
- Online backup via secure internet to remote backup server.
- Dual Redundant power supplies in Servers.
- Hot Swap Hard Drives in Server in RAID 1 configuration for o/s.
- Hot Swap Hard Drives in Servers in RAID 5 configuration for Data.
- Hot Swap Spare Hard Drive as RAID Standby.
- Firewall.
- AntiVirus Software.
- Spam filtering.
- A rolling 3-5 year programme of Server Upgrades.
